Varin international residential school celebrated Varin Utsav 13 (2022 -23) with pomp and show. This year the joyous occasion was celebrated over a period of two days. The two days of Varin Utsav were a culmination of Indo-Western cultures that beheld the watchwords of universal brotherhood.
Day 1 was graced by His holiness Sri Sri Veereshananda Saraswathi Swamiji (President Ramakrishna Ashram, Tumkur) and Mr. Channabasappa K (ADC Tumkur District) both spoke about the importance of imparting knowledge for the betterment of the society. The anchors spread a red carpet welcome to the tiny tots of Varin. Their confident countenance and attire was a banquet to the eyes of the audience. The Little Stars of our school set the stage on fire. Day one was concluded with a warm invitation to the second day.
The gathering of Day 2 was addressed by Dr Anil Kumar (Neuropsychiatry and De-addiction centre, Tumkur) and Prof. P Paramashivaiah (Professor and Chairperson Dept. of studies and research in commerce, Tumkur). Both respectively spoke on the importance of discipline and education they further stressed that they are not separate entities but two sides of the same coin.
The presence of the Stalwarts of the Virat Trust added grace and glory to the celebrations. The celebration reached its zenith with the presentation of awards for the best dances and the best choreographers.
