Krishna Janmashtami marks the birth of Lord Krishna, an avatar of Lord Vishnu. To seek the blessings of Lord Krishna, Janmashtami was celebrated with great pomp and festivity by the students at Varin International Residential School. The fragrance of flowers, soothing aroma of camphor and the jingle of bells filled the air. Dressed as Radha and Krishna, the cute little ones added a traditional touch to the entire celebrations when they danced to the beat of Janmashtami songs, filling the air with joy and festive spirit. Girls from various grades enthralled the audience with a classical dance performance. The Principal of the school, Mr. Senthil R along with the teachers encouraged the students and enjoyed the function thoroughly.
