Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated at Varin International Residential School on 02nd October 2022 to commemorate the 153rd birthday of Mohandas Karam Chand Gandhi, popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi or ‘Bapu’. The School remembered this greatest motivator and independence campaigner of his times through various activities. The day began with the singing of his most preferred devotional song by the students “Raghupati Raghava Raja Ram “which evoked memories of the Father of the Nation. The Day ended with a thought in everybody’s mind that cleanliness is next to Godliness and service to mankind is the first step towards reaching it. It was a day of joy, a day to love and respect our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and Unity in Diversity.
