Eid Mubarak is also known as the Festival of Sacrifice, and is one of the most revered Islamic festivals. It is celebrated in honor of Ibrahim, who was ready to sacrifice his own son as an act of obedience to command. The festival is celebrated with much fanfare in India on a grand level. In order to make our students aware of this festival, it was celebrated in our school on the 20th of August 2022. The program started with a short assembly followed by a speech about the importance of the day, loving one another, and depicting values attached to the celebration. Further, the students bought healthy sweets to share in their respective classes, thus promoting the values of sharing, peace, obedience, and harmony.
